PJ is a 7 year old teacup 5 lb chihuahua who came to our shelter as a stray. It does take him some time to warm up to people. Being very food motivated helps him open up. PJ has beautiful BIG brown eyes, and has a few missing teeth which make his doggy smile very endearing. He likes to take a little walk and stop and smell the roses along the way. PJ can be a bit of a Napoleon at times, so his new family needs to be firm with him. Once PJ bonds with you, he will be loyal and loving. PJ is eligible for the Senior for Senior Grant through the New Bedford Coalition for animals. If you are 55 years or older, because he is 5 years or older the adoption fee is $25- Check out PJ's video to see a lot more of him.
